  1. #GISChat what is your experience with virtual conferences this year? In the last two weeks, I spoke at two virtual conferences. Both shortened the talks: 7/10 instead of 15min. It's very hard as a speaker to get used to this short form but as an audience member I really like it.

      From my limited experience so far, I'd prefer to pre-record the talks. It forces speakers to stay in time but also gives them the chance to record multiple takes until they are happy with it. This leads to better presentations overall.
