    @JC_Sandino Certainly. PySAL is great for hotspot analysis. The challenge starts when we advance to "emerging" hotspot analysis, i.e. finding spatotemporal hotspot patterns. Afaik, there's currently no open source implementation. Please do share if you are aware of one.
